Vinification takes place in \u003cb\u003e100% small old oak barrels\u003c\/b\u003e, aged \u003cb\u003eunder natural cork for 7 years on its lees\u003c\/b\u003e and still \u003cb\u003eriddled and disgorged by hand\u003c\/b\u003e….no expense is spared!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Gill Sans Nova Light',sans-serif; mso-ligatures: none; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;\"\u003eAnd the 2018 is a wonderful success. A vintage marked by an early and abundant harvest (first grapes picked by 23rd of August). A late budburst followed by a mild spring weather gave way to a hot, dry summer, resulting in a harvest in perfect sanitary condition. The chalk soils of Bollinger’s Grands and Premiers Crus vineyards regulated conditions, producing particularly excellent, concentrated and perfectly ripe Pinot noir.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Gill Sans Nova Light',sans-serif; mso-ligatures: none; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;\"\u003eThe wine offers freshness and there is little surprise that Champagne Bollinger’s signature rich, open style shines through.
