Monrouby, Grenache Rosé 2025 Languedoc (6x75cl)
Monrouby, Grenache Rosé 2025 Languedoc (6x75cl)
Monrouby is a small village in the Languedoc, close to Pomérols, which is where we make the Baron de Badassière and the Vignes de L‘Eglise wines. Alana McGettigan and Matt Thomson, who make these wines for us, were impressed with the fruit from this village and decided to vinify several varietals separately.
Grenache is often blended in powerful reds from the Rhone but in this context it is a picture of restraint resulting in this pale salmon in colour, and a refreshing Provençal style rosé,
brimming with fragrant red berry fruit, with notes of cherry, strawberries and raspberries and a hint of dried herbs. The palate is fresh with crisp acidity and a smooth finish.
Hugely versatile in terms of accompanying our summer dishes and a major contender for fridge space, alongside our AIX!
